用set off表达“出发、启程”

固定搭配 “set off” 的意思是 “动身、出发，开始一段旅程”。当描述动身所去的地点时，“set off” 后要接介词 “for”，即 “set off for somewhere 动身前往某地”。

• If you don’t want to get stuck in traffic, you should set off for the beach early in the morning!
  如果你不想堵在路上的话，应该一早就动身去沙滩。
• I realised that I had forgotten our suitcases half an hour after we set off for the airport. My wife was furious!
  我们出发去机场半个小后，我才意识到忘了拿行李箱。我妻子非常生气！
