用one‘s cup of tea表达“对某事或某人感兴趣，是某人的

今天要和大家分享的口语表达是：one‘s cup of tea。这个口语表达的意思是：“对某事或某人感兴趣，是某人的喜好”。英国人喜欢喝茶，而且每家煮茶泡茶方法不同，茶的口味也就不同，因此就有了这种说法。

另外，说个题外话，我们现在常说的“下午茶”（afternoon tea），其实就是源自英国，而且早期的英式下午茶还分为high tea 和 low tea。low tea 是过去上流社会的人坐在低矮的沙发上享用的茶点，high tea 是过去普通大众在下午六点左右为了补充体力而享用的茶点，而且放在较高的餐桌上，方便快吃快走。

我们今天要讲的one‘s cup of tea这个表达虽然来自英国，美国人更喜欢喝咖啡，但是这个表达在美国使用得也很普遍，使用频率甚至比英国还高。
