下班
说到「上班」，我们马上想到 go to work.至于「下班、收工」怎么说呢？其实用法很多元，甚至可以直接说 I’m going home. 使用哪一种说法是依习惯而定。
got off/knock off (work)
这是表示下班、收工最直接的讲法。
A: I’d like to speak to your manager.
A: 我想和你的经理说话。
B: I’m sorry. He just got off (work).
B: 很抱歉，他刚刚下班了。
另外，大家可能会想到 leave 这个字，但要注意它的用法哦！因为其实leave work/a job 有时候带有永久离开一个职位或工作的意味，象是：
Annie left her job and went abroad for further study.
Annie 辞掉工作去国外深造了。
leave the office
因此，如果要使用 leave 来表示下班，用 leave the office 再加上适当的时间副词象是几点、多晚会比较好，以免产生误会。例如：
You can leave the office early today, but don’t make it a habit.
你今天可以提早下班，但别养成习惯了。
I’m still at work. I’ll call you as soon as I leave the office.
我还在上班，一下班就打电话给你。
另外，以下这句道地的口语用法也能代表「收工、下班」的意思！
to call it a day
这句话使用的频率很高哦！只要想表达活动告一个段落，或是建议共事者该结束一天的工作回去休息了都适用，意思是「今天就 (暂时) 到此为止吧！」
A: It’s almost 8 p.m. If there are no other comments, I’d like to wrap this meeting up.
A: 现在已经快八点了，如果大家没有其他想法，我想结束今天的会议了。
B: Okay. Let’s call it a day. I could do with a drink.
B: 好，今天工作就到此为止，我实在想喝一杯。
*补充：
wrap something up / wrap up something 结束、了结某事
wrap up 这个词组最直观是指「包起来」，形容购物时挑了很久「最终」选定中意的东西请店员包起来，所以也有了「结束、了结、收尾」的意思。
I’ll take it. Please wrap it up for me.
这个我要了，请帮我包起来。
因此，上面例句中的 wrap this meeting up，就是利用wrap up 这个词组来说明「此会议结束」。
